A distinguished legal practitioner and founding partner of MMN Legal Practice, James has been a stalwart in the Zimbabwe legal fraternity, starting his legal
career in Legal and Consular Section of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of Zimbabwe in 1985.
With a career in private practice spanning over three and a half decades, he brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the firm, particularly in commercial and corporate law, civil litigation and advisory roles.
His commitment to ethical practice and excellence is evident in his leadership of MMN Legal Practice and his enduring leadership in the profession in Zimbabwe where he has served as Councillor and Vice President of the Law Society of Zimbabwe.He was also a long-standing examiner in ethics for the Council for Legal Education as well as serving as a Councilor at the Pharmacist Council of Zimbabwe.
He has served on and or has chaired many boards of directors of corporates in Zimbabwe including Turnall Holdings, Doves, National Railways, Chemplex Corporation, Net One as well as Seedco Zimbabwe Division Advisory Committee.Currently is the Group Chairman for AFC Holdings, the holding company for AFC Commercial Bank,AFC Land and Development Bank, AFC Leasing Company and AFC Insurance Company.

A brilliant legal mind, George is a founding partner of MMN Legal Practice . Prior to forming MMN George was a partner in charge of administration and human resources at Chihambakwe Mutizwa & Partners since January 2005 having joined the firm as a professional assistant in January 2003. George started his career in private practice in September 2001 at Manase and Manase legal practitioners focusing mainly on civil law practice. He has, over the past two decades. accumulated extensive experience in general civil litigation ,representing clients in the lower to the superior courts of Zimbabwe with remarkable success . His arears of specialization are corporate advisory work, employment law, family law, construction law, conveyancing ,notarial practice and administration of deceased estates. George is detail oriented and commercially minded thereby bringing effective solutions to clients 'most complex legal and commercial challenges. His notable clients range from institutions of higher learning, regulatory bodies, aviation ground handling services companies, companies in the agricultural sector and local authorities among others.
George is committed to high standards of ethical practice and has leadership roles in other spheres outside legal practice. He is a member of the Zimbabwe Lawyers for Human Rights and participates in regional bodies such as SADCLA. He enjoys touring different countries exploring the world.
