A distinguished legal practitioner and founding partner of MMN Legal Practice, James has been a stalwart in the Zimbabwe legal fraternity, starting his legal
career in Legal and Consular Section of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of Zimbabwe in 1985.
With a career in private practice spanning over three and a half decades, he brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the firm, particularly in commercial and corporate law, civil litigation and advisory roles.
His commitment to ethical practice and excellence is evident in his leadership of MMN Legal Practice and his enduring leadership in the profession in Zimbabwe where he has served as Councillor and Vice President of the Law Society of Zimbabwe.He was also a long-standing examiner in ethics for the Council for Legal Education as well as serving as a Councilor at the Pharmacist Council of Zimbabwe.
He has served on and or has chaired many boards of directors of corporates in Zimbabwe including Turnall Holdings, Doves, National Railways, Chemplex Corporation, Net One as well as Seedco Zimbabwe Division Advisory Committee.Currently is the Group Chairman for AFC Holdings, the holding company for AFC Commercial Bank,AFC Land and Development Bank, AFC Leasing Company and AFC Insurance Company.
